Biography

Latta - Mildred Frances Easterling, 86, died June 23, 2010 in Regency Hospital of Florence. There will be private memorial services, in Florida, at a later date. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.

Miss Easterling was born in Latta, SC on October 16, 1923 a daughter of the late Louise Smith and Henry Franklin Easterling. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in several of the area hospitals over the years. She was a member of St. Stephens Apostalistic Church.

Surviving her are a brother, Henry Frank (Shirley) Easterling of Greensboro, NC and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial be made to the Latta Rescue Squad, 107 W. Bamberg St., Latta, SC 29565.
