About Us

Kannaday Funeral Home was founded in Latta over thirty years ago by Raymond and Carolyn Kannaday on the belief that a compassionate, caring facility dedicated to support and aid families experiencing the loss of their loved ones was an important and intergral part of any community.

The present Kannaday funeral home in Dillon, South Carolina, was founded by Kathleen and Graham Cottingham with the purchase of Bethea Funeral Home from Oreanda and Thad Bethea. This facility was later sold to Lyde Blanton who later sold it to Raymond Kannaday in 1980.

Both funeral homes were bought in 2009 by Ryan L. Kannaday, Jr., R.L.is committed to providing exceptional service in both Latta and Dillon.
